Privacy Policy
This policy explains how CreateComic handles information across Comics and Portraits.
Information we collect
We collect your Google account name, email address and account identifier; prompts and project details; photos you choose to upload; generated results; generation and export status; support messages; and technical information such as browser, device, IP address, logs and security events.
Payments
Polar handles checkout, billing and tax information. We receive identifiers and status needed to grant purchases and manage subscriptions, but we do not receive or store your full payment-card number.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate you, create and store projects, run image generation, deliver downloads, manage Generations and purchases, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, provide support, measure product performance and comply with legal obligations.
Photo and generation processing
Portrait photos, prompts and generated assets are private to your project. We send the inputs necessary to our image-generation provider, Fal, which routes the selected model request, including OpenAI image models used by current styles. We do not use private projects as marketing examples or training data without separate permission.
Advertising measurement
We may use the Meta Pixel and Conversions API and the OpenAI Ads Measurement Pixel and Conversions API to measure advertising performance. This can include page, checkout and purchase events, campaign parameters, browser and click references, and hashed email or customer identifiers. We retain first-touch attribution information for up to 90 days. Browser or device settings may let you limit advertising cookies.
Service providers
We use service providers including Google for sign-in, Convex for application data and file storage, Fal and the selected AI model provider for generation, Polar for billing, Vercel for web hosting, Meta for advertising measurement and OpenAI for advertising measurement. They process information under their own terms and privacy obligations.
Retention and deletion
Projects and their assets remain until you delete them or request account deletion. Deleting a portrait project removes its source photo, versions and exports from active project storage. We may retain limited billing, fraud, security, backup or legal records for as long as reasonably necessary. Attribution data is kept for up to 90 days.
Security
We use access controls and hosted infrastructure to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Tell us promptly if you believe your account or information has been compromised.
Your choices
You can delete portrait projects from their workspace, manage or cancel Pro from Account settings, and request access, correction or deletion of account information through Support. Privacy rights vary by location, and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Children
CreateComic is not directed to children who are not legally able to consent to online services in their location. Adults creating a gift for a child remain responsible for having permission to use any child's photo or personal information.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as providers or features change. Material changes will be posted here with a revised date. Contact Support with privacy questions or requests.
